Dezs%C5%91 Perczel

Dr. Dezs Perczel de Bonyhd was a Hungarian politician, who served as Interior Minister between 1895 and 1899 in Dezs Bnffys cabinet. His father was Bla Perczel, a former Minister of Justice of Hungary. During his reigning Dezs Perczel supported the institution of civil marriage. He also made a law about the parish registers. He took several measures concerning about the labour movements and the nationality movements breaking off. Later he fought against the Oppositions tactics of filibuster. He was a president of newcreated Party of National Work.
